Who is Murphy's Magic?
Murphy's Magic is one of the biggest magic wholesalers in the world. They only sell to verified magic dealers, not to the public, and they don't ship to customers. I'm a verified Murphy's dealer, so I can bring their products into Canada for you with no duties, tariffs or brokerage fees, and check every order by hand before it ships.
Do you ship outside Canada?
No. Maple Leaf Magic Shop ships to Canadian addresses only. We do not ship internationally.
Will I pay duties or import fees?
Never. Your order ships from Calgary, Alberta, so there are no duties or import fees. The price you see is the price you pay.
Do you drop ship?
No. Drop shipping would mean you pay duties and nobody checks your order. I import everything to Calgary first, check every item and your order by hand, and ship it to you myself. Doing it this way only adds a day or two to the whole process, and it's worth it. You never pay duties, tariffs, brokerage fees or any other surprise fees, and every order is checked by hand before it leaves Calgary. I really do care about you getting the magic you ordered.
How long does shipping take?
Items we have in stock: Ships same or next business day. Items we order from our supplier: Ships from Calgary in 2 to 3 business days. Canada Post delivery usually takes 2 to 7 business days after it ships. Order by 11 a.m. MT on a business day and we order it from our supplier that same day. You get a tracking number by email once your order ships.
What if an item is out of stock?
If an item is out of stock on both our shelves and our supplier's, it shows as out of stock and can't be added to your cart. If we have it in stock, Ships same or next business day. If only our supplier has it, Ships from Calgary in 2 to 3 business days. We order it for you.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. GST or HST is added at checkout based on your province. Prices on product pages are before tax.
How do I get free shipping?
Free shipping on orders over $100 CAD. A flat $10 CAD applies to orders under $100.
What if my parcel is lost or damaged?
Just tell me and send a photo. I'll replace or refund it right away and deal with Canada Post myself. You never have to chase a claim.
How do Maple Points work?
You earn 1 Maple Point for every $2 you actually spend on items (after any discount, before tax and shipping). 100 points = $5 off a future order, redeemed in 100-point blocks. You also get 25 points for your first review of a product, and 100 bonus points in your birthday month. Points stay active as long as you order at least once every 12 months. VIP customers earn no points — they get VIP pricing instead.
